About PredictMyPace: We are a marathon focused startup company out of Austin, Texas. Our main goal is to connect marathon runners, spectators and organizer with the implementation of new technologies. As well as providing a new experience for marathoner across the globe.
Current Product:
The first mobile app release of our marathon calculator application features the top winter and spring marathon races for 2012. Our current mobile application is a pre-race tool that allows the runners to predict their time at each mile marker. No is not just a mile split application, the real sauce of this application lays in the interactive map course that is provided for each of the featured marathons. Not only is the runner able to see his/her predicted splits, but he/she can traverse the marathon course and see his/her stats throughout the race. As a marathon runner this feature is important as it take all the hassle in planning on where to have your friends and family member stand to cheer you on.
Next Release:
To enhance the current mobile app we are incorporating leading edge technology and social media to enhance the overall experience on how you view, share and run marathons. The next release will provide a real time tracking mechanism to allow spectator and organizer to track the runners as he/she crosses each mile mark throughout the marathon race. The runner will also have the ability to share his progress of the race by setting up his twitter account to tweet as he traverses the race. In addition you will have the ability to view the current standing throughout the race as they are happening.
No longer do you have to wait till the finishline to find out where your favorite runner finished up. No longer do you have to guess where to stand to cheer on your runner throughout the race. No longer do you have to worry about where your last runner is. No longer do you have to wait for your runner to cross the map at mile 26 to know his name.
These are the features that we are bringing to the marathon world, all at the palm of your hand.
